Everyone deserves meaningful employment.

A lack of knowledge, networks, and support can often create hurdles for individuals seeking meaningful employment. Our economy has not always been inclusive to those without a traditional education, and many One On One participants face challenges because of their race, socio-economic background, and lack of resources due to generational barriers. When folks do not have access to networks, career modeling, or relevant work experience, this contributes to financial insecurity and a lack of a career strategy.

At One On One, we aim to break this generational cycle.

Connecting people to their passions.

Through our partnerships, we bridge and access networks with our participants. We connect them one-on-one with an employment coach for job opportunities and mentorship throughout their job-seeking process that is focused and tailored to their needs.

Finding “more than a job”

When people are employed, their lives improve. One On One participants are motivated job seekers who want that life improvement, to break the cycle of poverty. With our help and the help of our partners, we ensure that our participants are ready for “more than a job” that will ultimately lead to a career in which they derive a sense of purpose, pride, and personal growth.

For many, the confidence built from gainful employment allows them to move forward in accomplishing other personal goals related to savings, credit building, housing, and community.
